With the decision to get back into event photography (primarily to help fund equipment accrual), I launched voltaicvisual.com
I plan on doing event and portrait photography, and inspired by the incredible Generation Domination, a photobooth. It’s not a coincidence that my site looks and feels like theirs but rest assured it’s going to change. I just needed a simple template/design up in time for a wedding I shot last weekend, so people could download their photos as I don’t have a strip printer yet. And their setup/design is extremely functional and okay for the time being. It actually is really close to Lightroom 2’s web gallery export templates, but this way I can use Flickr’s API and don’t have to host the images on my server.
The first set of photobooth images are up, check them out and let me know what you think!
I hope to get more gigs in the near future, and will be adding to the gallery section. If you know anyone in WI/Chicago who could use a photobooth at their event, send them my way: voltaicvisual at gmail. High-res
